Tara Anderson, PA-C
Tara Anderson obtained her bachelor’s degree in Human Biological Sciences from California State University, Bakersfield. She later received her Masters of Medical Science degree from Marshall B. Ketchum University’s School of Physician Assistant Studies located in Fullerton, California.
Tara was awarded Overall Outstanding Graduate by her professors at MBKU and is the recipient of a community service award for her role as the community health outreach chair where she educated students, faculty, and the surrounding community about health and various medical conditions.
Tara is nationally certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCAP), is a member of the California Association of PAs (CAPA) and the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA). Her board training included family medicine, surgical gynecology and obstetrics, general surgery, cardiothoracic surgery, and plastic surgery. Tara is a bariatric/general surgery team member at Smart Dimensions. Her extensive surgical training and compassionate patient care will help her patients obtain and support their goals. In her spare time, Tara and her husband enjoy spending time with family and friends, hiking, and traveling.
