One of the biggest mistake people make when trying to lose weight is to skip meals, especially breakfast. In order to get your metabolism in gear, and convince your body that it is ok to let go of it’s stored energy(FAT) you have to EAT. You should have some high quality food within one hour of waking. Protein is especially helpful. Making this a habit will help make a big difference in your weight loss. I often hear surgical weight loss patients they are not hungry and often forget to eat. This does not help facilitate weight loss as the body slows the metabolism rate down to protect it against starvation.
