I think one of the most rewarding aspects about our practice is the ability to see the results. I can’t tell you how many times i have heard from patients how happy they are that they no longer need their diabetes medications, Blood pressure medications or cpap machine for sleep apnea. It is a joy to know that these patients are on their way to living a healthy lifestyle.
On the flip side it can be frustrating as well, to have put in so much work and to see patients abusing their lap band or their gastric pouch.
Point being, it really is a two way street. We will do the best we can on the medical side to provide you with the tools to be successful, but it is truly up to the patient to take the steps towards success.
