Weight Loss Surgery Patient – Jennifer

Jennifer, a bariatric surgery patient near Los Angeles, has lost more than 130 pounds since her gastric bypass surgery. She has experienced a major boost in confidence since her surgery, and now is able to play soccer with her kids frequently.

I just slowly kept getting heavier and heavier. In about 2005, I went to doctor I was getting migraine headaches a lot and they are thinking maybe it had to do with the way that I was eating. So we started talking about gastric bypass at that point. So, I started looking in to it and they referred me to Dr. LePort. I have lost 130 pounds. I have people tell me even when they watch me walk you know at work they said it is the energy, and my walk is amazing. Since I have lost the weight, it’s like a whole different person. It’s crazy and my husband even said it’s just the confidence level when he sees me like walking around. It’s because you could just tell you are full of confidence and I feel so good about myself everyday. I wake up, I just, you know look in the mirror everyday and this is amazing. It’s just set a different lifestyle.
