Our Physician Assistants – LA & Orange County

Our physician assistants work to make sure all our surgical weight loss program patients from the LA and Orange County areas are comfortable and have an easy surgical experience. Our physician assistants enjoy the opportunity to get to know you and be there for you both before and after your bariatric surgery.

In the office the physician assistant, we see the patient the first time they come in for their new patient history and after surgery for a lot of their postop visits. We assist on the lap band adjustments and we take a lot of the patient phone calls when they have questions about diet and medications. And in the hospital, we also assist with the surgery. We also round on patients and sometimes we are the ones giving the discharge. In the office, it’s really rewarding to see the patients when they first come in and then we follow them all the way through their postop journey in their weight loss and seeing them at their one-year visit, their two-year visit, and just you know how great they are doing. It’s amazing seeing the patients just really change in front of you, not just physically, but also like emotionally, they are just so much happier, likewise their health is better, they are not on as many medications, so it’s a great experience for us.
